Impact Methodology

Pairs purchased: consumer pairs bought and paid for.

Pairs funded: impact pairs financed by a completed purchase, at CAD $3.00 per pair.

Pairs produced: impact pairs manufactured and available to distribute.

Pairs delivered: impact pairs distributed by a community partner and confirmed by that partner.

Forecast volumes are never counted as delivered impact.

A pair is only counted as delivered when the distributing organization confirms it.

Where a partner cannot confirm quantities, the units stay counted as produced, not delivered.

We do not publish carbon savings or plastic-diversion figures, because we do not yet have an evidence-based lifecycle method for this product.

We do not publish recipient stories or photographs without informed consent from the individual and the partner organization.

Once distribution begins, we intend to publish delivered impact alongside the partner-confirmed source of each figure.
